The manufacturing process of the FIMOR POLYURETHANE sheet ensures a perfect finish of the corners or edges allowing the finished product to meet demanding dimensional specifications. Various profiles are possible by molding or machining (e.g. anti-slip profiles). PU tubes, bars and other standard forms complete the range of semi-finished products made by our American subsidiary
Examples of use: seals and gaskets cutting, conveyor belts for mines and quarries, scrapers, industrial protective curtains, anti-slip plates, protective liners for workbenches, trucks, trailers and more!

Ballasting noise barriers

Our polyurethane elastomers can dampen structure-borne vibrations far more efficiently than other materials! The reduction in the noise perceived by railway workers or residents when the ballast is dumped into the cars or dispensers is up to 32 times reduced when compared to the fall of ballast on unprotected meta! All French ballast dispensing cars are now equipped with our noise reduction kits.

Polyurethane has been replacing metal horseshoes for some time in the United States and other countries. FIMOR delivers dual-hardness and two-color parts to combine long lasting comfort to horses.

Protection plates and liners

FIMOR offers polyurethane sheets for equestrian centers or private stables, as well as for specialized distributors. These protect stalls against kicks, or fit upholster trailers in various colors to reduce animal stress (sometimes associated with black rubber). Set up is one is really simple : sheets can be supplied as full sized or pre- cut. They can be riveted and used as protection in vans, or riding schools.

Shutters

Our rectangular or circular sheets come with very low hardness and at least one sealing side. They are recommended in the event spill hazardous chemical spills or to protect manhole covers (or any pipe connected to the wastewater drainage network). The chemical resistance to many solvents or corrosive products of our polyurethane allows their use as stopping plugs in the chemical industry.
