Manufacturing processes
Preparation of raw materials
From the very first stage of designing a part, FIMOR group technicians and chemists select the most relevant polyurethane elastomers and the most economical processes in terms of tooling and parts shapes.
FIMOR pays special and constant attention to the development of innovation, both for processing processes and for new uses of its polymers.
Much of the business success is a result of large R&D investments. FIMOR has a test laboratory and a dynamic research team.
Polyurethane casting
Table casting is ideal for larger thicknesses and customized dimensions, suitable for prototypes and medium series. Finally, their continuous casting line, which is over 75 metres long, allows the moulding (or overmoulding) of very large batches of various shapes.
Cutting of semi-finished product
The cutting process ensures flawless corners and edges, meeting the strictest dimensional specifications. Various profiles, such as non-slip profiles, can be produced by moulding or machining.
The semi-finished product range includes PU tubes, bars and other shapes, offering a complete solution for a multitude of applications.
Packaging and stock of polyurethane parts
Our commitment to quality and service begins with the management of this stock, which is maintained in optimal conditions to ensure product preservation.
Through efficient logistics and rigorous management, we ensure that our customers can count on fast and reliable deliveries, while guaranteeing the quality of our products at every stage.

Polyurethane casting
FIMOR uses three main processes to manufacture technical polyurethane foils. Centrifugation ensures uniform material distribution, ensuring smooth and defect-free surfaces.

Cutting of semi-finished product
FIMOR manufactures custom polyurethane sheets and plates, offering a variety of sizes, hardness, thicknesses and colors. Its flagship brand, serilor®, offers sheets with varying hardnesses, including multi-layer options of up to 5 different hardnesses.
